MIT’s Brand New Approach to College Admission MIT is beginning a pilot admission program (autumn 2015) known as an inverted admission process. The MIT pilot is for admission to a master’s level in supply-chain management. And, this pilot may well change admission to both graduate and undergraduate university admissions. Inverted admission has been watched for expansion at MIT and is particularly being watched by other universities. It really works in this manner. Candidates for a diploma take online courses and exams during the college they’re signing up to. If they pass satisfactorily, they could be accepted into the complete program or being a full-time pupil.
There are many advantageous assets to basing university admission on what well students does making use of their courses at a college before that applicant is accepted at the school.
• The coursework is free, therefore reducing the price of a diploma.

• The applicant can test whether or not s/he would like to do further coursework at the college s/he applies to.
